Helberth Lopez from the University of Campinas, Brazil, received the DoRa travel grant from the Estonian Research Council to visit our Synthetic Biology lab in Tartu and work on the lipid production with oleaginous yeast Rhodosporidium toruloides. Congratiulations and welcome to Tartu!

Our paper was selected as a Featured Article in the current issue of the Cell Systems. In this paper, we have carried out absolute quantification of yeast transcriptome and proteome across ten environmental conditions and studied the translation efficiency of the cells. Link to the paper here.
