During the first week of April, Petri Lahtvee was visiting Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP, hosted by Prof. Everson Alves Miranda), Brazil, giving talks and a course series on ‘Combining synthetic and systems biology for the design of efficient cell factories’ for PhD and MSc students. The visit was supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation and European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program to transfer the knowledge and deepen the collaboration between the research groups.
Additional visits to São Carlo University and CTBE: Brazilian Bioethanol Science and Technology Lab were made.
