Regina Maruste received her Master’s degree at the University of Tartu in the field of Biomedicine. During her Master studies, she worked on identifying signaling pathways which are related to the phenomenon where fragments of the cell wall (called muropeptides) induce faster exiting from dormancy in Escherichia coli. Soon after graduating in 2017, she joined the Lahtvee’s group where she is working as a Research Engineer.
